Tottenham have reached a verbal agreement with Ange Postecoglou to make him their manager. Once compensation has been finalised with Celtic, where the Australian has a one-year rolling contract, the appointment will be confirmed.
Spurs and Postecoglou have settled on an a two-year deal with an option for a further season. The move for the 57-year-old accelerated after his season ended on Saturday with Celtic beating Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup final to complete a domestic treble.
