Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he will remain the Red Devils boss until 2015.
Since 1986, Fergie has been in charge of Manchester United. He has had a tremendous run, establishing himself as arguably the best football manager of all-time.
But the Scottish manager still insists that he is going nowhere any time soon and will remain at Old Trafford for three to four more years.
“I’ve got three or four years left,” Ferguson said. “I feel good. But when I do leave, I will leave in place a strong young team that will continue to succeed for my successor.”
In the last few years, Fergie has made it his goal to accumulate a lot of young talent. He has brought in the likes of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, and David de Gea to bolster an already talented squad.
The United boss also said that his managing strategy, which favors the collective team effort, has been key to the club s success.
“It’s all about team spirit. In a match, I only need eight of my players to be on top form. If the other three aren’t up to it, it’s not serious. The other eight do the work for them,” Ferguson said.
“There has only been six matches where I’ve had all 11 players perform at their very best. It’s like swallows.
“They always fly together in a group, in a V formation, and those at the front do the majority of the work. And they alternate regularly.
“If one swallow flies out of formation, two others go to get him and bring him back into the group. It’s the same in my teams sacrifice, friendship, and the giving of oneself to the team.”

In other news, Arsene Wenger s woes continue this week after a 2-1 loss to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal just cannot seem to put together a consistent run in form, which has rightfully frustrated the French boss.
It is two steps forward and one step back, it is exactly that, said Wenger. Sunday was a game we could have come out of with a point but it [our inconsistent form] is down as well to a lack of confidence.
We will come back because you could see again that there is a strong spirit in the team. But we have to become a bit more realistic and do our job better in certain situations.
“I felt on Sunday that defensively we are becoming stronger. But we lost the ball from good positions in the final third so we could have done better with our passing.
Tottenham s second goal made the difference. After that they could sit back and play on the counter-attack. That is why we are guilty because we did not do our job properly, we didn t defend properly on the winning goal.
